Family Counseling Service strengthens families and builds community through its three core programs.
Behavioral Health – Licensed therapists offer counseling and skill building for the entire family from preverbal children to older adults on issues of long term depression, anger, anxiety, impulse control, life management, conflict and parenting. A state protocol approved 26 week program serves male perpetrators of abuse, with separate programs for women who have used violence. Most insurance programs are accepted.
Consumer Credit Counseling Service – Assists families and individuals manage their finances through educational sessions, debt management, foreclosure prevention, loss mitigation, first time home buyers, reverse mortgages and pre and post bankruptcy. Services are offered in Spanish and are available on line.
Big Brothers Big Sisters – An agency of the premiere mentoring organizations serving throughout the country since 1903, matches children 8-16 with screened, trained and supported adults to provide role modeling and encouragement for children in need of support.
